2022 (JUNIOR): Has appeared in nine games and started eight for the Maroon & White with a 4-1 record tallying 56 strikeouts and a 3.99 ERA… had five strikeouts in 7.0 innings pitched against Kentucky(4/9)… earned season high of 10 strikeouts against Auburn (3/26) in 7.0 innings pitched… earned SEC Co-Pitcher of the week (2/28) after stellar performance against Penn (2/27) with 10 strikeouts and no runs in eight innings pitched… against Fordham (2/19) had five strikeouts and a 1.42 ERA in 6.1 IP.
2021 (COVID SOPHOMORE – TEXAS TECH): Appeared in 17 games, including 10 starts, posting a 4-3 record with two saves, a 3.51 ERA and 79 strikeouts in 66.2 innings… locked down NCAA Lubbock Regional save against Army (6/4), retiring all three batters he faced… closed out regular season with a win against Kansas (5/21), allowing two unearned runs on five hits while striking out six in 6.0 innings… picked up win against Oklahoma (5/15), yielding one run on six hits and three walks while striking out eight in 6.0 innings… earned win against Texas (5/1), allowing three runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out eight in 7.1 innings… left with no-decision despite strong performance against Baylor (4/24), yielding one run on six hits while striking out 10 in 7.0 innings… picked up save against Oklahoma State (3/20), allowing one run on three hits and one walk while striking out five in 3.0 innings… earned first win of the season with 5.0 blank frames against Texas Southern (3/2), scattering two hits and three walks while striking out eight.
2020 (SOPHOMORE – TEXAS TECH): Pitched in five games out of the bullpen, posting a 1-0 record with three saves, a 0.57 ERA and 23 strikeouts in 15.2 innings… also owned a .132 opponent batting average and 23.00 K-to-BB ratio… named All-America Second Team by Collegiate Baseball… pitched 5.0 scoreless innings in two appearances of series sweep against Rice (3/6-8)… earned win in series finale against Rice (3/8), allowing one hit while fanning two Owls in 2.0 blank frames… locked down the save, retiring nine of 10 batters, including five strikeouts, in series opener against Rice (3/6)… picked up save against Stanford at Round Rock Classic (2/22), scattering two hits while striking out six in 4.0 shutout innings… earned first career save in the season opener against Houston Baptist (2/14), retiring nine of 10 batters in 3.0 blank frames, including five strikeouts.
2019 (FRESHMAN – TEXAS TECH): Earned Freshman All-America from D1Baseball and Big 12 All-Freshman Team… appeared in 19 games in a College World Series campaign, including 13 starts… posted a 7-2 record with a 4.03 ERA and 84 strikeouts in 76.0 innings… led Big 12 freshmen with seven wins… entered College World Series as the only Power 5 freshman with seven wins and no losses… pitched in two College World Series games against Michigan (6/15 & 6/21)… grinded out NCAA Super Regional win against Oklahoma State (6/7) with performance that included nine strikeouts in 5.0 innings… earned NCAA Lubbock Regional win against Army (5/3), yielding one unearned run on three hits and one walk while striking out seven in 7.0 innings to garner All-Tournament recognition… picked up a regular-season win against Oklahoma State (4/26) and a Big 12 Tournament win against Kansas State (5/22)… made first Big 12 start against Kansas State (3/30), earing the win, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out three in 6.0 innings… made first career start in series opener against Michigan (3/21), earning the win, yielding one run on three hits while striking out seven… earned first career win against San Diego State (3/5), striking out five of seven batters in 2.0 shutout innings… first career pitching appearance came in clean up duty of blowout win against Kentucky (2/24), striking out two of four batters in a scoreless frame.
AT FORT WORTH T.H.E.S.A.: Played for Coach Jon Allen on the Fort Worth Texas Homeschool Educators Sports Association squad, competing against other private schools… for his graduation class, he ranked No. 22 among right-handed pitchers in Texas and was named a preseason honorable mention All-American by Perfect Game… posted a 0.63 ERA and held his opponents to a .143 batting average his senior season… played summer ball for the Arlington A’s and was a part of the Texas Premier 17U All-Tournament team in 2017… was also a member of the Rawlings national team, played in the Battle of the Boarders Oakley All-American game and spent time with the Mets Scout team and other elite teams.
PERSONAL: Micah Dallas was born in Carrollton, Texas… his brother, Bo, is a pitcher at Oklahoma Baptist University… his father, Steve Dallas, was a standout basketball player for Baylor University where his mother also attended… grandfather, Jack Dallas, is in the University of Oregon Sports Hall of Fame as a three-time All-American in swimming… his other grandfather is in the University of Southern California Sports Hall of Fame as a player and coach in multiple sports… majoring in universal studies with an emphasis in leadership.
